Demin is a classic wardrobe staple but this Spring, there is a new trend in town – pink.
Forget fuchsia and other shocking shades, this season the pink comes in soft tones, complementing the neutral trend perfectly.
Blush, rose, peach… all are popular colours this season from the top designers.
Isabel Marant, the hip French fashion brand, was one of the first brands to showcase this trend, putting pink demin on their catwalk back in October last year, for their SS11 show.
Below are some of my favourite pink demin pieces which are available to buy right now!
Rag & Bone blush mid-rise cropped skinny jeans, £155 (via net-a-porter)
These jeans are my favourites – a beautiful colour, rich but still very subtle at the same time.
The shape is flattering and perfect for teaming with a silk top for either a day out or an evening on the town, depending on how you accessorise.
Although they are currently out of stock, there is new stock coming soon.
Siwy Camilla cutoff shorts in desert rose, approx £93 (via shopbop.com)
These little pink shorts are perfect for the summer heat, or for a vacation later this year.
So wearable with any causal outfit.
Day Birger et Mikkelsen Day Luna peach blossom jeans, £99 (via Day online shop)
These pink jeans have a loosier fit than most – roll up the bottoms for a more causal look.
Citizens of Humanity rose quartz low-rise skinny jeans, £205 (via Donna Ida)
Finally, these rose coloured jeans are a lovely colour, and would look great with a silk blouse for a smart outfit.
Sea New York washed silk t-shirt
I’ll be pairing mine this summer with a silk t-shirt, just like this one above, and some simple flat sandals, for a chic daytime look. Finish the Parisian chic look with a French manicure.
Happy shopping!
